For this letter, I write in the past tense. I soon learned about Jim’s background, his leadership skills, and his volunteer interests. By January 2013 Jim entered the ranks of a CMS volunteer. Jim proved to be, time and time again, reliable and punctual, and his ability to follow through with requests and specific instructions was beneficial. Jim’s computer skills were an asset at the office and at paid events. Jim helped to create a professional front-of-house brand making patrons comfortable. His handling of confidential patron information was a given. His commitment to advance planning and run-throughs eliminated unnecessary and embarrassing public moments that could be cause for concern. During our times together, I could always count on Jim. I was always comfortable putting responsibility in Jim’s hands from security oriented detail to artistic relations. Jim was a community advocate for CMS during my time who was involved in many Sedona organizations. Jim was well liked by those he worked with and volunteered for additional local and regional non-profit organizations. I am pleased to speak on Jim’s behalf.
